iLEAD Carroll County Class of 2023

iLEAD Academy recognized its Senior Class of 2023 at an outdoor ceremony at Smith-Berry Vineyard and Winery.

Director Jenna Gray gave an emotional and uplifting address to the students from Carroll, Henry, Gallatin, Owen and Trimble counties. She called them the “transition class” because they had to make so many transitions throughout their years at iLEAD, most notably transitioning to an entirely online education during the COVID pandemic.

This class, however, was always able to make the best of their given situation, according to Gray. “This class approaches life with humor. They find ways to laugh,” she said. “Let’s remember how you transition from one scenario to another and somehow find a way to make us laugh.”

As graduation approaches, the seniors will begin their next transition into adulthood and professional careers. “Embrace this new period of your life as you set out for a new and exciting journey,” Gray said. “Keep moving forward to create your best life. You are incredible.”
