Carroll County Schools is channeling its river town legacy to ignite student futures and steer them toward success in all their pursuits. This ambitious mission calls on the whole community to participate in empowering, engaging, and motivating students to achieve their best with integrity.
Superintendent Casey Jaynes unveiled the new mission and vision statements to staff members today at a professional development. These statements were crafted with input from community focus groups and meetings, reflecting Carroll County's rich river town heritage with nods to the Ohio and Kentucky Rivers, and the river outline of Carroll County's border.
“Our vision really is to have every student who comes through here to walk across the graduation stage and be prepared to succeed in the ever-changing world in which we live,” Jaynes said.
The new mission of Carroll County Schools is “Inspired by the rivers around us, we guide our Panthers to be empowered, engaged and excel with integrity.”
The new vision of Carroll County Schools is “Our vision is a future where every Panther is empowered, engaged and inspired to achieve their best with integrity.”
The new slogan is “Where rivers unite, futures ignite: Empowering integrity, engaging community.”
The mission and vision statements, as well as the slogan, will be proudly displayed throughout the school district.
Not only are these new directives for our school district’s future, they are part of a bigger branding project of Carroll County Schools. The river theme and our traditional interlocking C’s with the Panther head will continue through graphics used on all publications and within the schools.
