Join the Carroll County Schools team as a substitute teacher!
We are pleased to announce that a significant pay increase was approved at the November 17, 2022 board meeting and is now in effect.
New daily rates are below:
Rank I (Masters + 30 hours) - $200 per day
Rank II (Bachelor's + 30 hours or M.S. or M.A.) - $175 per day
Rank III (Bachelor's degree, field does not have to be in education) - $150 per day
Rank IV (64 college credit hours) - $125 per day
After a substitute has taught ten (10) consecutive days in the same classroom – the substitute teacher will be paid on the 11th day and each day thereafter according to their rank and experience (based on the Teacher Salary Schedule). There must be no break in the 10-day schedule.
