Carroll County Schools kicked off Safe Schools Week with the Carroll County Ambulance Service making a visit to the Carroll County Child Development Center. Children learned about oxygen, blood pressure, got a tour of the ambulance and a few were lucky enough to get balloons made from gloves. Kentucky Safe Schools Week is designed to raise awareness about aspects of school safety and empower students, teachers, parents and the community to take a proactive approach to creating a safe learning environment. The theme this year is ā€œLevel Upā€. More information is available at https://kycss.org/safe-schools-week/.
