Several students in the gifted and talented program had the opportunity to meet with a coral cat shark and ambassadors from the Newport Aquarium to compare shark species and explore ways to take an active role in conservation efforts. During the visit, they were able to closely examine the colors and unique adaptations of coral cat sharks, gaining a deeper understanding of how these fascinating creatures have evolved to thrive in their environment.
