
The Carroll County High School Prom Court has been announced. Prom will be held Saturday, April 13 from 8-11 p.m. a the Carroll County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $25 per person.



Ten students in the pre-nursing program at the Carroll County Area Technology Center have earned their Student Registered Nursing Assistant certification.
They are trained to work in medical facilities and care for a patient’s daily living needs. They are also eligible to apply for nursing school after receiving this distinction. The certification is through the Kentucky Board of Nursing and Kentucky Medicaid.
These students can now add the SRNA credentials behind their name as part of their official signature.
Each student was presented with a certificate by ATC Principal Kirk Brooks.
The students are Brooklyn Andrews, Arlis Soto Funez, Jenna Haynes, Calli Hoopengarner, Haley Nelson, Joshua Pickett, Natalie Riley, Yarley Gonzales Salas, Mazzie Taylor and Autumn Ward. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)

An impactful and informative seminar on vaping will be held on April 18. Students at each school will participate and there is a parent academy as well. Watch our social media and websites for more information!

CTE (Career and Technical Education) Month comes to a close with a spotlight on the pre-nursing students in the Carroll County Area Technology Center. They are shown demonstrating skills as well as showing middle school students what they learn in class.

You're never too old to celebrate Valentine's Day and compete for the best decorated box in the classroom. At least that's the spirit in Diane Glen's pre-nursing class at the Carroll County ATC. Students in the morning and afternoon classes celebrated the holiday.
