Carroll County Schools honored veterans today with a variety of programs, all of which centered on thanking those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Thank you to all who have served and to those who are currently serving in the military. Sgt. Bill Lewis spoke at two of the events, inspiring students to pursue their dreams and believe they can achieve those dreams. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)

Carroll County High School held an academic and athletic pep rally last week to recognize fall sports and students who achieved proficient or distinguished ratings on their state assessment. The CCHS student council organized the event, which was held on Panther field. Students also dressed in costume and awards were given for the Top 3 costumes. Those who earned a proficient or distinguished score on the Kentucky Summative Assessment signed their name on a banner that will be posted in the school. Congratulations to all of these Panthers!
