Carroll County Food Services is hosting a free lunch and book giveaway at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Cartmell Elementary. It's open to anyone 18 and younger. Check out the flyer for details!

Congratulations to CCHS Track and Field Athlete Grayson Kinman for placing sixth in the state turbo javelin meet at Bishop Brossart athletic complex.



The Carroll County English Language Learners Department hosted an ELL Family Dinner & Fun Night recently. Through gracious donations of community members, families with students in the English Learners Program were able to enjoy a relaxing time at Camp KYSOC.






Thank you to our SRO team for another successful and safe year at Carroll County Schools.
They work hard every day to ensure all students and staff are safe. We are fortunate to have such a caring group in our school buildings who build strong relationships with our students and parents.
Our SRO team includes Darrell Tomlinson and Laman Stark at Cartmell; Don Mulhall at Kathryn Winn; Tim Gividen at Carroll County Middle School and David Mutchler at Carroll County High School.


The Carroll County High School Senior Field Day was a big hit! Seniors played soccer, football, cornhole, had a three-legged race and water kickball. They were also treated to a lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by the Carroll County Detention Center. (An album with all photos will be posted on the district's Facebook page.)








Five Panthers made the 31st District All-Tournament Team following the baseball and softball tournament, which was completed last night. The Panthers baseball team was runner-up in the tournament and will advance to regionals. The softball honorees are Brooklyn Rose and Brinley Couch while the baseball honorees are Brannon Battaglia, Landon Isaacs and Coy Willhoite. Congratulations to all!



The Class of 2023 made their final trek through each of the district's schools today. (More photos will be included in a photo album on the district's Facebook page.)







CCHS Seniors received their cap and gown today following honors day. The seniors were also treated to a slide show of their classmates featuring baby photos and senior photos.








Congratulations to the Carroll County High School kitchen staff for their recent award from the Kentucky Department of Education. Congratulations to Landon Isaacs for being named NCKC Player of the Week!


The Carroll County High School symphonic band is competing at the State Concert Band Festival at the University of Louisville today. This is the first time in recent history the band has made it to this level of competition so a bus was chartered for the musicians.







Students in the Agriculture Employability Skills class tested out their interviewing abilities today with a guest panel. The class teaches life skills, such as purchasing a car, paying taxes, how to write a check and how to write a resume and cover letter. The 12-person mock interview panel included industry representatives, CCHS Principal Amy Sutter, small business owners, a member of the military as well as Carroll County Schools Superintendent Casey Jaynes.










The Carroll County High School FFA Greenhouse is open! Plants are for sale from Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This week, the greenhouse will stay open until 4 p.m. on Thursday for the Mother's Day shoppers. Cell packs are $2, 4 inch pots are $4 and all hanging baskets are $18.





Students in the electrical program at the Carroll County Area Technology Center learned about pipe bending from two Synergy Electrical Services employees. They explained the types of bends, materials to use and why each bend is used.
