North American Stainless was recently awarded the Business Engagement of the Year award from the Northern Kentucky Education Council.
This award recognizes area businesses that are dedicated to improving student achievement through high impact partnership activities.
NAS has partnered with Carroll County Schools to provide volunteers to work with students in each school and assist in meeting a variety of educational needs. Currently, 14 NAS employees volunteer their time each week at the Carroll County Child Development Center, Kathryn Winn, Cartmell, Carroll County Middle School and Carroll County High School.
“This is a great example of them supporting our school system with their presence, instead of their presents, and that is greatly needed,” said Carroll County Schools Assistant Superintendent Jonica Ray. “We look forward to expanding this program in the future to provide the additional support needed for our students to be successful.”
This link will show the video about NAS and its nomination for this award.
