Carroll County Schools wrapped up the 2023-2024 school year with a luncheon, fellowship and recognition at the Carroll County Fairgrounds.
“I am blessed to have good people to work with and to be in this role,” Superintendent Casey Jaynes said as he expressed his gratitude to all staff members. “It makes my job easy to have so many wonderful people to work with, so thank you for all of your hard work.”
Five employees said farewell for the last time as they retired this school year, those with perfect attendance were given a pat on the back and each employee who has worked one, five, 10 or 20 years was given a pin for their years of dedication to Carroll County Schools.
Retirement: Chandra Yocum, 26 years; Anita Bartley, 26 years; Lynn Eaglin, 20 years; Sijean Hill, 15 years; and Melissa Staley, 6 years.
