A new venture to help families connect with mental health services is succeeding.
Care Solace is a mental health care coordination service available to students, staff and our families. A video explaining Care Solace is available on our district website, https://www.carroll.kyschools.us/o/ccs/page/care-solace. This link is specifically for Carroll County Schools.
As of November 1, there have been 188 communications with more than 5 hours of communications through Care Solace.
“The board of education and the school community recognize the importance of mental health for all of our students, staff members and their families,” said Carroll County Schools Superintendent Casey Jaynes. “Care Solace is a means for us to provide both a uniform and unique service for our community. I encourage you if you have mental health, substance abuse or any other type of counseling need to check into this resource.”
