CCMS students learned how their choices can take them on good or bad paths at a Truth or Consequences program sponsored by the Carroll County Cooperative Extension Service recently. Students drew a scenario then traveled to different stations to learn their fate. They also experienced what it was like to function under the influence of intoxicants by wearing ā€œdrunk goggles.ā€ This piece of the program was led by the Carrollton Police Department.

One of the many Project-Based Learning tasks is rebuilding the bridge that linked the grounds in front of the Carroll County Area Technology Center to the sidewalk along the Carroll County High School entrance. Students demolished the original bridge and are in the process of building new footers, erecting posts and support beams and ultimately building the new structure. The original bridge was built 30 years ago.
