Tonight's CCHS Panthers baseball game has been cancelled due to weather.
The CCMS track and field team competed in the Bearcat Series at Walton-Verona yesterday, bringing home several top 10 finishes.

Girls 100 Meter Dash - Brittani Alvarez, 19th in 16.84 and Yolanda Nava Sanchez, 28th in 19.54.
Boys 100 Meter Dash - Tristan Barkley, 18th at 15.17 and Zander Webb, 27th at 16.67.

Carroll County High School's theater department will present A Voice in the Dark: A Salem Story April 19 and 20. It tells the tale of the Salem Witch Trials. Tickets are $10. All performances will be at CCHS.
Carroll County Schools will host renowned speaker Michael DeLeon on April 18. He will discuss the dangers of youth vaping. A community event will be held that evening at 6 p.m. Door prizes will be given away, including a large screen TV. Please join us!

Carroll County Schools will host renowned speaker Michael DeLeon in school assemblies and a Parent Academy on April 18. The Parent Academy begins at 6 p.m. at the high school. All are encouraged to attend. Door prizes, including big screen TV's, will be awarded!

Carroll County High School's art club will host its second annual art show on Thursday. The competition is open to students and members of the community. Join us Thursday at CCHS to enjoy their artistic creations.
The CCHS kitchen staff took first place in a recent cake making and decorating competition between the schools. The winners received a cheesecake and a $25 gift card for each staff member. Pictured are Terri Lawson, Tiffany Riggs, Jean Church, Sheila O’Neal and Chasity Heilman.
The Carroll County Conservation District recognized the winners of the 2023 Jim Claypool Art & Essay contest. The winners were honored at a banquet held March 27 at the Camp Kysoc Lodge.

Mrs. Catt, the librarian at Cartmell, conducted a random drawing to give away three signed copies of “The Big Eclipse Day”— a book recently published by her author/science teacher friend from Frisco, TX, Sherrie Klein (aka Sharky Science). The winners were Abigail Laib, Bradley Routon, and Liah Gutierrez (not pictured).
