The CCHS yearbook staff is now offering ad space to spotlight or congratulate your special senior! Space is limited and first-come first-served, so please contact Kathy L. Phy at katherine.phy@carroll.kyschools.us to reserve your spot. The following sizes and prices are available: Full page: $375 1/2 page: $250 1/4 page: $125 1/8 page: $50 How many ads are available at what size depends on interest and number of ads sold. All ads are full color. You provide the photos, copy, and design. The yearbook staff can assist with design if needed. Our deadline is approaching, so please be in touch as soon as possible!

The Commonwealth Autism Care Color Outside the Lines 5K walk/run will be held next month. Commonwealth Autism Care operates on Gillock Avenue, providing in-clinic therapy and performing autism diagnostic evaluations. The 5K walk/run will help purchase materials for children who receive their services. There is no sign-up deadline for the 5K walk/run. However, anyone who registers between now and April 13 will receive their T-shirt on race day. For more information, check Facebook or email stevie@commonwealthaba.com.

Last night, the CCMS Girls’ and Boys’ Track teams competed at the Walton-Verona Bearcat Meet. Coach Joseph Creager said there were six teams from Northern Kentucky participating on a very windy and chilly night. ā€œThis was our second meet of the season and we are continuing to make improvements,ā€ he said. CCHs Theater
Ten students in the pre-nursing program at the Carroll County Area Technology Center have earned their Student Registered Nursing Assistant certification. They are trained to work in medical facilities and care for a patient’s daily living needs. They are also eligible to apply for nursing school after receiving this distinction. The certification is through the Kentucky Board of Nursing and Kentucky Medicaid. These students can now add the SRNA credentials behind their name as part of their official signature. Each student was presented with a certificate by ATC Principal Kirk Brooks. The students are Brooklyn Andrews, Arlis Soto Funez, Jenna Haynes, Calli Hoopengarner, Haley Nelson, Joshua Pickett, Natalie Riley, Yarley Gonzales Salas, Mazzie Taylor and Autumn Ward. The CCHS cheerleading squad was recognized for its victory in the Americheer International competition in Florida. The team walked through the hallways to cheers from their classmates, sang the fight song with the help of other athletes and enjoyed cake at a reception. They placed 7th among 42 teams, achieving their highest score of the year. "These kids have worked really hard. This is a really hard sport," said sponsor Ashlea Beckham. She was also recognized with a lifetime achievement award. Congratulations to these student athletes!
