Carroll County Schools is seeking a Substitute Nurse to support students from infants to seniors across all of our schools. This is a highly autonomous, all-inclusive role ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety and making a direct impact every day.

• 🏫 Serve all grade levels, infants through high school
• 🌿 Provide holistic care, first aid, and emergency care as needed
• 📅 See scheduled student appointments, including some medical procedures
• 🎓 3 days of training before covering independently
• 🚌 Frequent opportunities to work, especially at the end of the year during field trips

🍽️Spanish 3 and 4 students are mixing language and culture in Mrs. McCarty’s class each week through cooking. By following recipes written in Spanish, students build real-world communication skills while learning about Spanish culture. Bonus - they get to enjoy some tasty treats! 🥑🌮

Carroll County High School senior Dylan Marsh combined creativity with technology through the Project-Based Learning program by launching a 3D printing project for high school staff. Using the school’s 3D printer and filament, Dylan offered staff members a variety of items to choose from - some turning out perfectly, others becoming a tangled lesson in trial and error.
Through persistence and problem-solving, Dylan’s creations have brought plenty of smiles around the building. He plans to continue the project for other holidays during the school year.

Students in Mrs. Howard’s freshman math classes put teamwork to the test by building towers using marshmallows, hard spaghetti, string, and tape! A hands-on challenge that encouraged collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity.
The Ecosystem Evolution Showcase is ongoing at CCHS today! We encourage you to visit with our high school students and learn about their research project on evolution, animals and the human impact. The event is open until 2:20 p.m. Please bring your photo identification for entry to the school.
Ms. McCarty’s Spanish classes celebrated the tradition of the Three Wise Men with a creative bonding activity. Students colored shoes to place under the tree, shared favorite treats from break, and received a piece of chocolate as they reviewed dates, numbers, and verbs from previous units.
