Carroll County Middle School invited community members to tour their school and hear from students about their experiences. This is a regular offering CCMS has started to make a deeper connection with our community and showcase their school.

The CCHS Young Leaders group recently visited the capitol in Frankfort. The group met with Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman and State Sen. Gex Williams during their visit.
Agriculture students harvested lettuce from the hydroponic greenhouse they operate at CCHS. It will be used on bacon cheeseburgers served tomorrow in the high school cafeteria.

A number of students in Carroll County Schools were recognized for participating in 4H for 10 years during the annual volunteer forum held in February. They include Addy Campbell, Rileigh Darnold, Lilly Frye, Jocie Kate Harris, Zackary Kindoll, Kylee Kinman, Kait Maiden, Jesse Mann, Brenna Mefford, Houston Parker, Braden Stewart and Trey Stucker.

These CCHS students repaired the Commonwealth of Kentucky flag flying at their school recently. The students are Jaylinn Perkinson, Chevy Fountain and Cole Crawford. They were aided by Jeff Fremin.

The CCHS boys 4x800 team of Alex Bolton (8th), Taylor Harsin (11th), Aiden Lilley (11th), and Asriel Aguazul Mendoza (9th) finished 7th at the Inaugural KHSAA Indoor State Track Championship this weekend. Congratulations to these student athletes!

The middle and high school bands will perform on March 7 at CCMS. This is a preparatory concert for their upcoming concert band festival. A guest judge will evaluate each band and give feedback following their performances. Come enjoy a night of quality music!
CCMS will host a band concert for seventh and eighth graders on March 7. Some high school musicians will also participate. Seventh grade will perform at 5:30 and eighth grade at 6:30 p.m. Students should arrive 30 minutes before performance time. The bands will be evaluated by a guest judge to prepare them for the annual concert band festival.
The District 31 boys' and girls' basketball championship games are tonight at Carroll County High School. The girls game begins at 6 p.m. with the boys at 8 p.m. Trophy presentations and net cuttings will occur after each game.
