The CCHS boys' and girls' soccer teams have secured the first seed in the 31st District tournament. The Lady Panthers will play at 6 p.m. on Oct. 8 in Owen County and the Panthers will play at 6 p.m. on Oct. 10 in Owen County. Congratulations to our soccer teams!


Today is Custodian Appreciation Day. Thank you to all of our custodial staff for their tireless efforts to take care of our schools, staff and students. We appreciate all you do! Carroll County girls' and boys' soccer celebrated senior night last night in a match against Henry County. The girls won 3-0 while the boys lost 5-4 after double overtime and a shoot-out. The senior girls are Kelby Maiden, Lexi Moore, Macie Miller, Alyssa Horner, Yarley Gonzales Salas, Lili Short and Gaby Nava Cruz. The lone senior on the boys' team is Horacio Granados Magdaleno Jr. (More photos on the district Facebook page.)

October is National Principal Appreciation Month. We would like to thank and recognize all of our principals for their dedication and commitment to their students. They each work hard to improve our schools and help our students succeed. Thank you to our principals!


Scott's Miracle Gro is collecting a tractor-trailer of supplies for Hurricane Helene victims in North Carolina and Tennessee. The items on this flyer are being accepted through October 9.


Attention all juniors and seniors interested in attending the University of Kentucky! A representative from the college will be at CCHS on Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the library.

The Cross Country meet to be hosted at Carroll County tomorrow has been cancelled.


Due to anticipated severe weather, school will be closed today, Friday, Sept. 27. Student safety comes first. Stay weather aware and remain safe.


Panther families, tomorrow's football game has been postponed until Saturday. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at halftime. The Homecoming dance has been delayed until 8 p.m. on Saturday.

The Carrollton McDonald's is offering a portion of today's sales to benefit CCHS athletics.


The open house for our heavy equipment simulator will be Thursday, September 26 from 3-7 p.m. in the VR (Virtual Reality) Room at Carroll County High School. Enter the building through the gymnasium doors and directional signs will be posted.
Our partners and the public will be able to check out our new Vortex Advantage from CMLabs, which simulates overhead cranes, an articulated dump truck, compact track loader, excavator, and forklift.
The open house will be part of Carroll County High School's fall homecoming activities, which will include the homecoming parade through town, a volleyball game in the gymnasium, and a tailgate party in the parking lot. We also hope to have some actual heavy equipment on site for the younger crowd to inspect.
