Tough times come for everyone, but how we show up for each other makes all the difference. 💪✨

A group of CCHS students and staff recently spent the day training to become Sources of Strength peer leaders. Students were chosen for their ability to uplift, support, and inspire their classmates. 🐾⭐

Through interactive games and activities, student and adult leaders explored the core components of Sources of Strength, discussed common stressors, and learned how to help peers tap into their own strengths to overcome challenges. 🧠💙

We’re proud of these incredible Panthers for stepping up to make CCHS a stronger, more supportive community! 🙌🖤💛

Students in Mrs. Marsh’s Social Studies class recently took on an Escape Room challenge to test their knowledge of the Articles of Confederation.
Working together, they solved clues, decoded messages, and raced against the clock to “escape” while reviewing one of the most important early chapters in U.S. government history.
Way to go, Panthers, for making history come alive through teamwork and critical thinking!

Mrs. McCarty’s Spanish 3 & 4 classes took on a delicious challenge last week — making Pan de Muerto without an oven and with only 45 minutes from start to finish!

The students learned that yes, it is possible to “bake” in the classroom! While the final product might not have looked perfect, it was absolutely delicious. Even better, the entire lesson was done completely in Spanish.

Next up: the class will use what they learned to make adjustments (also written in Spanish!) and prepare for their own Rosca de Reyes celebration in January. ¡Qué divertido y delicioso!
