A haircut clinic was held this morning at Cartmell Elementary School so students could get a fresh cut before school pictures next week. Tara McArter, owner of Tara's NuWave Barbershop, donated her time.

Cartmell Elementary inducted its second graders into their houses today. House members cheered and welcomed their new friends as they jumped on a trampoline then landed on a yellow dot that selected their house. (More photos are posted on the district's Facebook page.)

New bus route information has been released by the Department of Transportation.

Panther families, please read this letter from the Director of Transportation. Thank you for your support!

We are excited to announce and welcome our new staff members! Please check our social media for regular updates.

Cartmell Elementary students learned about "less than" and "greater than" concepts with their teacher, Natalie Abbott, recently.

Third grade teachers Cassandra Southworth and Shelby Evans were a little mismatched today in honor of their class reading Marisal McDonald Doesn't Match. The students made predictions about the story and discussed it as a class. More photos will be on the district Facebook page.

Good afternoon. We have had an emergency medical situation at CCHS. There is not any threat to our community.

CCHS alum Vanessa Birchfield will be singing the national anthem at the Florence Y'alls game on Aug. 29. This will be her seventh year performing at the venue. If you're not busy, venture north to see one of our former Panthers!

Second grade students of Diane McCarthy worked on synergizing to save Sammy the gummy worm last week. They had a great time working together to achieve their goal!

Carroll County Schools welcomed staff who are new to the district or new to their building recently with presentation of a mug and a CC pin. Pictured are staff from Carroll County High School, Carroll County Middle School, Cartmell Elementary School, Kathryn Winn Primary and Carroll County Child Development Center.

It was a great start to the Carroll County Schools 2023-24 school year! Please tag the district in all your posts so we can see all the smiling faces. A photo album is available on our district Facebook page.
