Dear Cartmell Elementary School Parents,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Family Night at Cartmell on September 19th! This special event is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about your child’s education and enjoy some fun with fellow families.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM Informational Rotations in Each Grade Level
Our classroom teachers will be leading 4 different, short, 15-minute sessions on various topics, including classroom assessments, report cards, homework, goal setting, curriculum, and structured literacy. This is a great chance to gain valuable insights into how we support your child’s learning journey here at Cartmell. You can experience what they are learning at school.
Each time you attend a session your student will get a door prize ticket and we will draw for the door prizes at the house assembly at 5:30 PM.
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM Pizza and Brownies
Join us in the cafeteria for a delicious spread of pizza and brownies. It’s a perfect time to relax, chat with other parents, and enjoy a tasty treat. You can eat before you go to classrooms, in between classroom sessions or after your classroom sessions, whatever works for your family.
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM Family House Assembly
We’ll all gather in the gym for an exciting “Family House Assembly”! Cartmell has 4 Houses but we are one big family. Families will experience the House system and see what it is all about. Get ready for some engaging games and a chance to win fun prizes. It’s going to be a lively and entertaining way to wrap up the evening.
We look forward to seeing you there and sharing an enjoyable and informative evening together!
